"Spiritism is a science that is concerned with the nature, origin and destiny of Spirits, as well as their relationship with the corporeal world."  Kardec, A. (What is Spiritism? - Preamble)

"The Spiritist Doctrine gives actual form to what Jesus said about the promised Counselor: It enlightens us as to where we came from, where we are going, and why we are on earth. Further, it reminds all to observe God's Law and to find comfort in the faith and hope of a better future." Kardec, A. (The Gospel, Explained by the Spiritist Doctrine, Chapter VI, Item 4)

What It Reveals

It reveals new concepts and more profound knowledge about God, the Universe, Mankind, the Spirits and the Laws that govern life.

Yet, it reveals who we are, where we came from, where we are going, what is the objective of our existence and what is the reason for pain and suffering.

Fundamental Teachings

God is the supreme intelligence, first cause of all things. He is eternal, infinite, unchangeable, immaterial, unique, omnipotent, supremely just and good.

The Universe was created by God. It includes all rational and irrational, live and inanimate, material and immaterial beings.

The spiritual world, home to discarnate spirits, exists besides the corporeal world which is home to incarnate spirits.

There are other inhabited worlds in the Universe, populated by beings in different levels of evolution, equal, more and less evolved than human beings.

All of the laws of Nature are divine laws, because God is their author. They include the physical as well as the moral laws.

Jesus is the role model and guide for all Humanity. The Doctrine that he taught and exemplified is the purest expression of God's Law.

Christ's, morals as contained in the Gospels, serve as the itinerary for safe evolution for all mankind, its practice is the solution to all human problems and the objective to be reached by Humanity.

The Spiritist Practice

Spiritism respects all of religions and doctrines. It values all efforts to practice good and works for fellowship and peace among all people, regardless of race, color, nationality, faith, cultural or social level. It recognizes that "a truly good man is one who fulfills the laws of justice, love and charity in their purest form.
